WHO I AM

I am Fabio, a yoga teacher with solid training. From the moment I discovered this discipline, I knew it was what I wanted for myself. I dedicated three years to yoga teacher training, obtaining the RYT 500 CSEN/CONI qualification and deepening my understanding of ancient practices and philosophies. I also trained as a mindfulness facilitator to deepen my knowledge of meditation, concentration, and awareness techniques. For me, training is a continuous journey; you continue to learn and grow throughout your life if you keep an open mind (the so-called beginner’s mind, one of the pillars of mindfulness). I am currently continuing my study of anatomy, combining it with training as a professional/sports massage therapist. Currently, in addition to video lessons and private lessons, I teach in Franciacorta, in the town where I live, with a nice, close-knit group, and I collaborate with a company that has chosen to include yoga as part of its welfare program. In my lessons, the key points are attention to the individual and helping each person progress gradually and safely, taking into account their difficulties or potential.

We will surely find some that are right and wrong for us. It is important to try to teach it conscientiously and knowledgeably, avoiding making students do harmful things and trying to calmly convey what we have learned, remembering to always put ourselves in the student’s shoes. In my specific case, yoga goes beyond just physical activity. It has become a state of mind, an awareness that allows me to be completely present in what I am doing. From the moment of practice, when it is perhaps more natural to have this attention, to every moment of everyday life: while talking to someone, driving a car or motorcycle, going for a walk… The goal is precisely this: to be present and attentive during all phases of our day, both to do our activities to the best of our ability and to savor every moment instead of being carried away by the flow of commitments with the feeling that life is slipping away.

How you can practice with me

Lessons can be in the classic mode: in a group. Or private: to work individually on specific goals or particular difficulties. Also online via a PC, smartphone, or tablet. What you get out of practicing is exactly what you decide to invest. One hour of practice per week will be excellent exercise and will allow us to regain flexibility and strength. If we introduce 5-10 minutes a day into our routine, we will see our body change and improve quickly. If we start practicing deeper techniques, mindfulness exercises, or meditation, we will also see a change in our mood and mind. We will become calmer, more patient, attentive, and aware. We will be able to not get carried away by events.
